Then, it gets better....we are in Switzerland...in the cable car , going up one of the most scenic and divine Mount Titlis ...watching the glaciers flow elegantly lined by dark rocks and green pine trees, while we are indulged in its beauty , i hear my aunt saying " Look !! " and i thought she had spotted some amazing view or bird or animal or something ...but then it was a sign inside the cable car, written in Bahasa Malaysia again. "Selamat Datang Ke Kereta Kabel Gantung Berputar yang Pertama Di Dunia " :) then of course...we are snapping pictures of it though we needed to hold on to the bars to be able balance and not fall on anyone..still we HAD to snap a picture of those words !!
Now, it gets EVEN better....we are in the City of Love....Paris , and just got to the top of the Eiffel Tower, walking around admiring the gorgeous view from there AND again...we stop to snap pictures ....now what ? Of course, we spotted Kuala Lumpur Tower in the list of towers stated inside the Eiffel Tower. And we were proud that Malaysia was in it !
We had a day for gardening at Dunstable, England. So, we all went shopping for plants at a nursery by the country side. This place was just so lovely with such beautiful varieties of flowers and potted plants which made it pretty hard to choose from. The roses were just huge and colourful. While we admired all those flowers and plants , we then spotted a very familiar flower...the Hibiscus !! And of course we were excited to see our national flower bloomed beautifully, thousands of miles away from home ! Was also surprised that it could grow so well in a completely different climate like in England. So we also snap a picture of it .
Then we go to LIVERPOOL !! yes, all those Liverpool fans got so jealous of me :) haha..as my brother took us on the Anfield Tour which was pretty exciting, really ! Then guess what, this time we found a restaurant owned by a chinese guy from Gunung Rapat , Perak ! And since all 4 of us are from Perak...we just HAD to have dinner there ! oh by the way, the food was really good !!
After the 3 weeks ...i was back home, and sorting out the photographs, and as i was uploading pictures taken in Brussels at the Atomium, i noticed there was some familiar letters again.... " SELAMAT DATANG " was written at the entrance among many other languages...and i got excited to spot it , but was disappointed that i didnt notice it while i was there itself, so i could have taken a close up of it. So i upload it in my FB and have my friends spot the words and we all get excited about it ! hahahaha.....ohh by the way, if you couldnt spot it...the words are written in the letter E, 3rd from top, isnt so clear here though...
Now need i say more !! Simple words of Bahasa Malaysia, local food or a plant even could get us excited while we are somewhere travelling.
Then i thought...
Malaysians will be always Malaysians....nothing could could take that feeling from our hearts :)
